Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decomposition-treating a hard to decompose organofluorine compound safely and efficiently.
SOLUTION: This method for photo-decomposing the organofluorine compound is provided by irradiating an aqueous layer containing the organofluorine compound and a photo catalyst for decomposing the organofluorine compound. In this case, as the photo catalyst, a metal complex compound having an electron transfer absorption band between the metal-ligand in a range of an ultraviolet part to a visible part, preferably a heteropolyacid compound is used. The fluoride ion generated in this photo-decomposition method can be reused as a construction material such as a construction board by using calcium fluoride obtained by a calcification.
