Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable electroplating or electroless plating with excellent characteristics, by plating an ultra-plastic Zn-Al alloy after one kind or more of a metal layer is formed thereon by sputtering. CONSTITUTION:For example, a Zn-22Al alloy which is polished by Emery paper and further subjected to buff polishing and washed by a buff polishing fabric is washed by alcohol and a thin film layer of Cr is formed on the washed alloy by a two-pole sputtering apparatus. In the next step, a thin film layer of Ni is further formed thereon in a similar manner. To this alloy to be plated, Ni plating is applied by electroplating to obtain a plating layer having excellent characteristics such as corrosion resistance.
