PURPOSE: To enhance the polishing accuracy and to satisfactorily maintain the accuracy of assembly by incorporating a plurality of circular cutters onto a circular cutter shaft, by clamping the plurality of circular cutters with a fastening device so as to constitute a circular saw row setting type cutter, and thereafter by securing the circular cutter shaft and the circular cutters together by a binder.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of circular cutters 2, 2,... are incorporated on a circular cutter shaft 3, and are clamped by a fastening device 4 composed of a stopper 3A and a clamp part 4A so as to constitute a circular cutter row type cutter 1. Then, the circular cutters 2, 2,< and the circular cutter shaft 3 are secured together by a binder. In this condition, the circular cutter row type cutter 1 is mounted on a polishing device 10, and accordingly, the circular cutters 2, 2, 2< are polished one by one by a grind wheel unit 22 adapted to be intermittently moved vertically and horizontally by an NC control mechanism.
