Abstract:
To provide a method for positioning a movable maintenance device on a textile machine.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for positioning a movable maintenance device on a textile machine. The textile machine 1 comprises: a plurality of work stations 2; and a maintenance device 5 that is movable along the work stations. The method is configured in that: at least one signal is transmitted by a transmitting unit S, and is received by a receiving unit E; at least two fixed reference points 12 and at least one measurement point 13 are determined, and an execution time of at least one signal between the measurement point and the reference points is measured; and a position of the maintenance device on the textile machine is determined by means of an analysis unit 14. There is also provided a system for positioning a movable maintenance device on a textile machine. The textile machine comprises at least one control unit 11 for positioning the movable maintenance device; and further an analysis unit, and the control unit and the analysis unit are connected for positioning the movable maintenance device on the textile machine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
