Abstract:
PURPOSE: To determine the accurate position of the cross-sectional image of the jaw bone by exposing the cross-sectional image to include the marker of each cross section, and exposing the marker on the image in the longitudinal direction to match with the cross-sectional image. CONSTITUTION: The horizontal member of a T-section 1 is located below the jaw bone and guides the jaw in the vertical direction to the correct height. Markers A, B, C of cut sections of the vertical member of a T-section 1 are located at different heights so that they are not overlappingly photographed, and measurement scales 2 in the vertical direction are provided on the markers A, B, C. Each cross-sectional image is photographed from a different cross section. The other end of a film is used to photograph the jaw in the longitudinal direction at the position corresponding to the image of each cross section, and the position of each cross section can be observed on the image in the longitudinal direction. The marker such as A, B, or C is applied to each cross section, and this marker appears on the image in the longitudinal direction at the position corresponding to the cross section. The cross section of the jaw can be photographed, and its position can be determined by the image in the longitudinal direction.
