Abstract:

To provide a method for precipitating a metal sulfide, which can reduce commingling of an impurity metal with the sulfide.

In the method, a sulfidizing agent is added to an acid treatment liquid including an objective metal, and the objective metal is precipitated as a sulfide. After the treatment liquid is diluted, alkali is added to the treatment liquid and pH is adjusted, and after an alkali salt of an impurity metal included in the treatment liquid is redissolved, the sulfidizing agent is added to the treatment liquid. An insoluble sulfide is not generated around the alkali salt, so that the commingling of the impurity metal with the sulfide is reduced. The slurry concentration of the sulfide is reduced, and coprecipitation of the impurity metal is reduced, so that the commingling of the impurity metal with the sulfide is reduced.
