Abstract:
To provide a blister scale generation prediction method and a blister scale generation prediction model generation method capable of predicting the occurrence of blister scales with high accuracy, and a rolling mill control method for reducing surface defects of a rolled material.SOLUTION: A prediction method for blister scale generation predicts the generation of blister scales in a hot rolling line including a heating furnace 1 for heating a slab and a rolling mill 5 for executing a rolling process for hot rolling in a plurality of rolling passes. Input data includes: one or more parameters selected from attribute information of the slab; one or more parameters selected from operation parameters in the heating furnace; one or more parameters selected from the temperature information of a rolled material before finishing rolling; and one or more parameters selected from the operation parameters in the rolling process, and uses a blister scale generation prediction model generated by machine learning in which the presence or absence of blister scale generation is used as output data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
