Abstract:
To provide a method for preparing a catalyst solution for efficiently producing a polyketone composed of carbon monoxide and ethylene.
In a method for producing the polyketone having 95-100 mol% repeating unit of 1-oxotrimethylene by bringing carbon monoxide and ethylene into contact with a catalyst solution in a solvent, the above catalyst solution is prepared by the order of (1) a step of dissolving a palladium salt compound and a phosphorus bidentate ligand represented by formula: R1R2P-R-PR3R4 in an aprotic polar solvent or a lower alcohol to prepare a solution A and (2) a step of adding an acid represented by formula: R5-SO3H to the solution A.
