Abstract:
To provide a method for preparing a composition, preferably a pharmaceutical composition in a form of an expanded, mechanically stable lamellar structure, porous structure, sponge-like structure or foam structure.
The method for preparing the composition comprises (a) a step for preparing a solution or a homogeneous dispersion of a liquid and a compound selected from the group consisting of one or more pharmaceutically active compounds, one or more pharmaceutically suitable excipients, and mixtures thereof and subsequently (b) a step for expanding the solution or the homogeneous dispersion without boiling.
