Abstract:
To provide micronized (poly) urea for use as a thickening agent in a lubricant.
The present invention relates to the method for preparing (poly) urea powder, novel (poly) urea powder, compositions containing such powder, and the use of such powder as a thickening agent. The present invention particularly relates to the use of such powder in a lubricant such as namely polyurea grease. The method for preparing (poly) urea powder comprises spray-drying the suspension of (poly) urea particles in at least 1 type of solvent.
