Abstract:

To provide a method for preparing an optically active allyl compound of high optical purity at a high asymmetry yield with high efficiency.

The method for preparing an optically active allyl compound is characterized by subjecting allyl compound and a nucleophilic organic compound to an asymmetric coupling reaction in the presence of a metal complex compound comprised of transition metal such as palladium and a phosphine ligand namely a 2,3-bis(dialkylphosphino)quinoxaline derivative with asymmetry introduced onto its phosphorous atom, whereby an intended optically active allyl compound can highly efficiently be prepared in a short operation time at a high asymmetry yield with high efficiency.
