Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pigment dispersion in a short time and to provide a high sensitivity electrophotographic photoreceptor by producing the electrophotographic photoreceptor by using the pigment dispersion.
SOLUTION: When the pigment dispersion for an electrophotographic photoreceptor is prepared by dispersing at least organic pigment particles, the organic pigment particles are azo pigment particles or phthalocyanine pigment particles and the organic pigment is subjected to dispersion treatment in a solvent together with a spherical pulverization medium having 0.4-0.8 mm average particle diameter.
