Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a forming method which uses a usually general forming die and forms a blank being cooled in a low temperature range with a coolant and kept within the low temperature range.
CONSTITUTION: After a blank plate of aluminum or aluminum alloy is cooled with a coolant, the blank is set on a forming die in a room temperature, and the blank is formed by engaging the upper and lower dies 11, 15 of a forming die, and the difference of temperature of the blank when being clamped with the upper and lower dies and when forming is finished is kept within 100°C grade. Further, at the time of forming the blank after the blank plate of aluminum or aluminum alloy is cooled with the coolant, and is set on the forming die at the room temperature, the forming is finished within about 0.5sec. from the time of clamping the blank with the upper lower dies 11, 15.
