Abstract:
To provide a method of press working excellent in shape fixability which can efficiently manufacture a component of which the wall section has a small warp, in obtaining, by press working, the metal plate component having the wall section and a flange section connecting to both sides of the head of a hat.
First, the flange section is formed by bending the crosswise edge of the metal plate 1 with a flange bending tool with a part of the metal plate which will be the wall section pinched by a die 3 and a blank holder 6. Then, the wall section is formed by bending with the die and a punch 2 with the blank holder parted from the part of the metal plate which will be the wall section.
