Abstract:
PURPOSE: To economically finish an invert concrete base without increasing the number of working steps during placing of concrete for constructing the invert concrete base on a road bed prior to the installation of arch sheathing after excavation of a tunnel to be formed.
CONSTITUTION: In a method of finishing an invert concrete base, in which concrete is placed on a road bed prior to the construction of arch sheathing after excavation of a tunnel, main line rails 12 are shifted onto overhanging carrier racks 16 provided at the side wall parts of the tunnel. Thereafter, muck on the road bed 11 is removed so as to level a reference surface, and slide scaffolds 18 are laid on the rails 12 on the racks 16. Then, the rails 12 are again laid on the invert concrete base 20.
