Abstract:
To provide a gas channeling prevention method in blast furnace operation, capable of improving a production amount of lead in a blast furnace and a productivity of the blast furnace.SOLUTION: The gas channeling prevention method includes a charging step of charging raw materials and coke alternately, a blowing step of blowing air used for burning the coke from a tuyere, an air volume setting step of measuring an air volume in the blowing step and setting a measured air volume as a reference air volume, an investigation step of investigating whether or not there is a tuyere in which the air volume has increased beyond a predetermined ratio with respect to the reference air volume after a predetermined time has elapsed from the air volume setting step, a wind rate adjusting step of determining, among blocks, which are regions formed by dividing the portion of the blast furnace where the tuyere is located into a plurality of portions in a circumferential direction, a block including the tuyere in which the air volume has increased beyond the predetermined ratio with respect to the reference air volume from the reference air volume in the investigation step, and reducing a wind strength of the block for a predetermined period, and a restoration step of restoring the wind strength of the block to an original wind strength after a certain period of time has elapsed from completion of the wind rate adjusting step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
