Abstract:
To provide a method for preventing corrosion, which exhibits a corrosion preventing effect not only for a condensed portion such as the inside of a boiler but also for a non-condensed portion such as water supply pipelines and an economizer, and enables economical operation in which increase of electric conductivity is suppressed.
The method for preventing corrosion in a boiler water supply system and a boiler includes: adding citric acid and/or a salt thereof to boiler supply water at a citric acid concentration of 25 to 75 mg/L and in a pH range of the boiler supply water of 8.0 to 9.5, and simultaneously adding a water soluble homopolymer and/or copolymer having a carboxy group.
