Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved snowslide prevention fence (suspension fence) with high safety, in order to solve the problem that, in a conventional suspension fence which has been widely used due to being economical, there has been frequently caused a phenomenon that an upper suspension rope arranged on the mountain side in the rear of the suspension fence is deflected due to a sedimentation load of a deposited snow layer and the suspension fence body is inclined toward the mountain side or overturned, and thus the snowslide suppression effect of the suspension fence is deteriorated and the cross-sectional structure becomes unstable.SOLUTION: Since the cause of the above problem is the fact that, when the upper suspension rope arranged on the mountain side in the rear of the suspension fence is deflected due to a sedimentation load of a deposited snow layer, a strong tensile force acts on both ends of the upper suspension rope, and a fence construction body is pulled to the mountain side by the tensile force, the snowslide prevention fence (suspension fence) is improved to have a bracing strut composed of a steel material strong against deflection and withstanding the estimated sedimentation load due to the snow deposition acting on the upper suspension rope, and has a cross-sectional structure with high safety.
