PURPOSE: To improve the optical stability of an org. coloring material without degrading the hue and purity of a coloring matter or dye constituting the coloring material by allowing the org. coloring material and at least one kind of the compds. expressed by specific formulas to co-exist.
CONSTITUTION: The org. coloring material and at least one kind of the compds. expressed by formulas I, II are allowed to co-exist to prevent the photofading of the org. coloring material. A quinoneimine dye, methine and polymethine dyes, azo dye, anthraquinone dye, indoamine and indophenol dyes etc., are used as the org. coloring material. R of the compds. expressed by formulas I, II is a group which can be substd. and (m) denotes 0 or 1W6 integer. Plural R may be the same or different if (m) is 2W6. X is an oxygen atom., sulfur atom. or the group expressed by formula III. R1 is a hydrogen atom., alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, alkenyl group or cycloalkenyl group which may have a substituent.
