Abstract:
To improve the slippage in a tire/wheel assembly with at least one of supporting surfaces being outwardly inclined.
The present invention relates to a method for preventing rotatory slippage between a tire and a wheel assembly. The tire has a plurality of supporting surfaces, and at least one of the supporting surfaces is inclined outwardly. The method comprises a step of determining a zone of an outwardly inclined bead surface having a substantially non-evolutionary surface contact pressure between the bead surface and a rim surface, and a step of increasing the surface contact pressure between the bead surface and the rim surface in the determined zone.
