PURPOSE: To increase transfer speed and to smooth the surface by heating a substrate to a specific temp. range and performing transfer to the substrate.

CONSTITUTION: Printing ink is transferred to a substrate 1 according to a fine pattern by the blanket 3 of a plate cylinder 2. The substrate surface plate 4 supporting the substrate 1 has an electric heater or other heating means therein for heating the substrate 1 to about 30-80°. The printing ink transferred and bonded to the substrate 1 precedingly is accelerated in the evaporation of the solvent contained therein by heating, and the curing action of a part of the printing ink is quickened and the ink is spread well. The other printing ink component keeps fluidity through heating action and the upper layer part of the ink is cured while the relatively smooth surface state thereof is kept.
