Abstract:

To provide a method for processing e.g. cereal seeds without heating while sustaining quality.

The method for processing cereal seeds comprises a process of soaking the cereal seeds in primary treat water obtained by admixing with water 0.1 wt.%-60 wt.% of one kind or the combination of at least two kinds selected from the group consisting of cane sugar fatty acid ester, tea extract, liquid by boiling tea, brewed vinegar and its preparation, acetic acid and its salts, citric acid and its salts, malic acid and its salts, ascorbic acid and its salts, lactic acid and its salts, gluconic acid and its salts, succinic acid and its salts, carbonic acid and its salts, phosphate and its salts, adipic acid, fumaric acid, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, acids such as nitric acid, common salt, sorbitan fatty acid ester, poly glycerol fatty acid ester, thiamine dilaurylsulfate, pectin decomposition product, egg shell calcium, oyster husks calcium, calcium lactate, calcium phosphate, chitosan, natamycin, phytic acid, glycine, tartaric acid and sodium fumarate.
