PURPOSE: To eliminate scattering and irregular reflection of projected light and form a sharply projected image by forming a film layer consisting of a transparent toner on a chromatic toner image.

CONSTITUTION: After the chromatic toner image 2 is formed on a transparent film 1, the film layer 5 by the transparent toner is formed on the surface of the image 2. This transparent toner consists of a transparent binder resin (A), colorless or transparent charge controlling agent and other compounding agents. The melting temp. of the resin A (e.g.: polymethyl methacrylate) is 90W110°C and the difference in refractive index from the toner of the image 2 is preferably within 0.05. Then, the surface 6 of the toner image is smoothed and the scattering and irregular reflection of the projected light 4 are eliminated. The projected image of sharp chromatic color is, therefore, obtd.
