Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing incineration ashes by using a melting furnace wherein exhaust gas does not contain toxic substances much.
SOLUTION: This method comprises the steps of separating incineration exhaust gas from flying ashes in a dust collector after spraying slake lime in the preceding stage thereof, mixing the flying ashes with incineration ashes directly discharged from the incinerator, and supplying the mixture to the melting furnace in the course of transferring exhaust gas incinerated in an incinerator to the duct collector through a boiler and a temperature reducing tower. The exhaust gas from the melting furnace sequentially passes through a combustion chamber, the temperature reducing tower and the dust collector, and then through a second dust collector after the slake lime spraying, to be mixed with the incineration exhaust gas and processed with an NOx removal catalyst.
