Abstract:

PURPOSE: To seal tastiness and flavor in a preservable food corn by removing epidermises of raw corn grains, then heat-treating the resultant grains under special conditions and freezing the heat-treated corn grains, etc.

CONSTITUTION: Raw corn is degrained and epidermises of the grains are removed. In an intact fresh state thereof, the resultant grains are placed in a stirred vessel intermittently fed with a small amount of wafer and slid on a heated surface. Thereby, the grains are heat-treated, then frozen, dried or strained.
