To restrain scattering of a recyclable raw material which is charged into a converter, wherein the raw material is like powder/particles having the diameter 30 mm, and like a foil of 100 mm square.
A method for processing the recyclable raw material includes: a process in which copper scraps are arranged around the recyclable raw material and a molded product 13 containing the recyclable raw material, is molded with a press-processing; a process in which the molded product 13 containing the recyclable raw material, is charged a boat 14 for converter to charge into the converter 16; a process in which the molded product 13 containing the recyclable raw material, is melted in the converter 16 to obtain a crude copper containing the recyclable raw material; and a process in which the recyclable raw material is recovered as a precipitated material, at the time of electric-refining this crude copper. The copper scraps are arranged around the recyclable raw material, and the recyclable raw material is wrapped with the copper scraps by press-processing. In this way, when the recyclable raw material is loaded on the boat 11 for converter, when charged into the converter 16 and when blasted in the converter, the scattering of the recyclable raw material is prevented.
