To grasp a rough position of a signal source and to make efficiently analyzable the signal of the source even if many sensors exist by processing to project a maximum value for taking out a maximum value from a data value of the same pixel on a feature amount expansion image for every pixel and obtaining a maximum value projected image.
When a point of view 604 is selected on an image 602, first, the number of a feature amount expansion image in which data are projected at the selected point of view is acquired from a number table 701. Then, the image corresponding to the number is provided or enlarged and displayed. Here, an image group 101 is an example of feature amount expansion images of reception signals of a sensor 1 to a sensor n, a point group 102 is an example of pixels corresponding to respective feature amount expansion images, and an image 103 is a maximum value projected image acquired by maximum value projection process. In the maximum projection processing, data values of corresponding pixels on a plurality of the images 101 are compared, and the maximum data value of them is adopted as the data value of the corresponding pixel on the projected image. The above-mentioned operation is conducted for all the pixels on the image group 101 to obtain the image 103.
