Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for processing silk fibroin, capable of readily improving durability of silk fibroin attached to a fiber product and obtaining a fiber product having sufficient touch feeling, etc., for silk.
CONSTITUTION: When silk fibroin is attached and fixed to a fiber product such as a monofilament group, yarn or fabric, a treating liquid containing silk fibroin, a fixing agent and a curing agent for the fixing agent is attached to the fiber product and then, a curing treatment such as steaming is applied to the treating liquid attached to the fiber product to cure the fixing agent in the treating liquid.
