This silver halide photographic sensitive material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support is processed by developing and fixing and rinsing, and this silver halide emulsion layer comprises host flat silver halide grains having sites for forming epitaxial silver halide grains and it is processed with a developing solution and a fixing solution each containing substantially not any boric acid and its salt.
