Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing 1-chloro-2,3,3,4,4,5,5-heptafluoro-1-pentene, whereby it becomes possible to remove 1-chloro-3,3,4,4,5,5-hexafluoro-1-penthyne and water with high efficiency, it also becomes possible to achieve a high 1-chloro-2,3,3,4,4,5,5-heptafluoro-1-pentene collection rate, and it also becomes possible to increase the purity of 1-chloro-2,3,3,4,4,5,5-heptafluoro-1-pentene. A method for producing 1-chloro-2,3,3,4,4,5,5-heptafluoro-1-pentene, characterized in that a distillation composition comprising 1-chloro-2,3,3,4,4,5,5-heptafluoro-1-pentene, water and 1-chloro-3,3,4,4,5,5-hexafluoro-1-penthyne is distilled to remove 1-chloro-3,3,4,4,5,5-hexafluoro-1-penthyne and water.
