To provide a highly general method for producing a 1-phosphorylated sugar, by which the 1-phosphorylated sugar can be produced in high anomer selectivity without being affected by the skeleton differences of sugars such as furanose and pyranose, by the presence or absence of the substituent of a sugar such as a deoxysugar, or by the kind of a sugar such as a natural sugar or a non-natural sugar.
This method for producing the 1-phosphorylated sugar comprises subjecting an anomer isomer mixture of the 1-phosphorylated sugar to an equilibration reaction in a solvent having a large relative dielectric constant to preferentially increase the existence ratio of one of the anomer isomers. Thereby, the method for producing the 1-phosphorylated sugar in good anomer selectivity is provided.
