Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely producing a corresponding a dihydroperoxide from cycrododecanone and the like (e.g. 1,1- dihydroperoxcyclododecane) at a high yield, considering yield and safety problems of conventional technologies.
SOLUTION: This method for producing 1,1-dihydroperoxycyclododecane represented by the formula is characterized by reacting cyclododecanone with hydrogen peroxide in 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol in the presence of an acid catalyst.
