Abstract:

To provide an efficient method for producing 1,1,1,4,4,4-Hexafluoro-2-butyne which is appropriate for a flow-through reaction.

There is obtained 1,1,1,4,4,4-Hexafluoro-2-butyne by dechlorinating 1,2-dichloro-1,2,3,3,4,4-hexafluorocyclobutane with a catalyst, followed by isomerization with a catalyst, and 1,1,1,4,4,4-Hexafluoro-2-butyne is efficiently obtained by carrying out all steps by means of a flow-through catalytic reaction.
