Abstract:
To produce an acrylic polymer giving a plastisol composition which can exhibit satisfactory adhesiveness to a base material even under low temperature baking conditions of about 100°C and has storage stability free from any problem in practical use.
A method for producing a (meth)acrylic polymer comprises carrying out a step (1) of polymerizing a monomer mixture (W) containing t-butyl methacrylate and then carrying out a step (2) of polymerizing a monomer mixture (X) containing a monomer having a basic nitrogen atom. In the method for producing the (meth)acrylic polymer, 10 to 19.5 mass% of the monomer mixture (X) is contained in all the monomers used for polymerization of the (meth)acrylic polymer.
