The method for producing the acrylic resin particle comprises a process for obtaining a mixed composition by adding a photopolymerization initiator to a monomer mixture comprising certain amounts of (A) a monofunctional monomer component composed of a (meth)acrylate derivative with a specified viscosity, (B) a monofunctional monomer component composed of a methacrylate derivative and (C) a monofunctional monomer component composed of an acrylate derivative, a process for forming an emulsion containing droplets of the monomer mixture by dispersing the mixed composition into an aqueous medium containing a certain amount of a surfactant through a micro-channel, and a process for obtaining the acrylic resin particle by polymerizing the droplets by irradiating the emulsion with UV rays, and is characterized in that the micro-channel separates the mixed composition and the aqueous medium, and is equipped with an intermediate plate having a through-hole toward the thickness direction, and the through-hole has a two-stage structure.
