Abstract:
To provide an industrially advantageous method for continuously producing high purity adamantanes with good efficiency in the method for producing the adamantanes with the use of a solid catalyst.
The method for producing the adamantanes by isomerizing a ≥10C tricyclic saturated hydrocarbon compound in the presence of a solid catalyst comprises continuously feeding the raw material in an upflow to perform isomerization.
