Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an adduct of cyclopentadiene-vinyl compound such as 2-formylbicyclo[2.2.1]-5-heptene, etc., simply, in a high purity and high yield.
This method for producing the adduct of cyclopentadiene-vinyl compound is provided by generating cyclopentadiene by performing a thermal decomposition reaction of dicyclopentadiene in a tubular reactor, bringing the obtained cyclopentadiene in contact with the vinyl compound continuously for performing the Diels Alder reaction to produce the adduct of cyclopentadiene- vinyl compound such as the 2-formylbicyclo[2.2.1]-5-heptene, etc.
