Abstract:
To improve pulverization efficiency by jet mill pulverization.SOLUTION: A method for producing an alloy powder for R-T-B-based sintered magnet of the present disclosure comprises: a step of supplying coarsely pulverized powder of alloy for R-T-B-based sintered magnet (R is at least one of the rare earth elements and always includes at least one of Nd and Pr, T is at least one of the transition metal elements and always includes Fe. B is boron.) into a jet-mill pulverizing device comprising a classification rotor; and a pulverization step of forming finely pulverized powder by pulverizing coarsely pulverized powder inside the jet-mill pulverizing device and discharging the finely pulverized powder by the classification rotor, in the pulverization step, both of a weight of powder retained inside the jet-mill pulverizing device and a rotation speed of the classification rotor are controlled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
