Abstract:

To provide a method for producing (refining) an aluminum material in which the impurity content level is much more suppressed.

The method for producing the aluminum material comprises a zone-melting step of forming a molten part where a part of aluminum is melted and moving the molten part so as to remove impurities. The zone-melting step is repeated n times, and n satisfies the formula (1): 0.5×exp((y-x)/0.57/x)+3≥n≥0.5×exp((y-x)/0.57/x)-1, wherein y is the target value of the residual resistance ratio corrected of the size effect of the high-purity aluminum material to be obtained; and x is the value of residual resistance ratio corrected of the size effect of the aluminum material prior to the zone-melting step.
