Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently producing aluminum silicon carbide without consuming much energy.SOLUTION: Aluminum silicon carbide can be easily obtained with low energy consumption by adding a reaction accelerator having a C-F bond, such as a fluororesin, to a raw material powder containing an aluminum powder, a silicon powder and a carbon powder and performing self-combustion synthesis in an argon atmosphere under pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
