Abstract:

To provide a method for producing an aminoimidazole compound by which a high-purity white crystal of the aminoimidazole compound represented by formula (1) (wherein, R1is hydrogen atom, or a 1-4C alkyl, 6-10C aryl, heterocyclic or a 7-11C aralkyl group which may have a substituent) is produced, and which is applicable to industrial production.

This method for producing the aminoimidazole compound represented by formula (1) comprises an extraction step for extracting the aminoimidazole compound from an aqueous solution containing the aminoimidazole compound represented by formula (1) by using a first organic solvent to provide an extract, and a decoloration step for carrying out decoloration treatment by adding a decolorizer to the organic solvent solution of the aminoimidazole compound.
