The method for producing the antibody enzyme includes an antibody structure-analyzing step for confirming the presence of a catalytic triplet residue structure having a serine residue, an aspartic acid residue, a histidine residue or a glutamine residue present so as to be adjacent as a three-dimensional structure in the three-dimensional structure of an antibody predicted from an amino acid sequence. The catalytic triplet residue structure is a structure specific to the antibody enzyme, and enables the antibody enzyme to be screened efficiently thereby.
