Abstract:
To provide an aqueous dispersion of an organic acid salt, particularly an aqueous dispersion of fatty acid metal salt particulates, excellent in stability with time.
A method for producing the aqueous dispersion of an organic acid salt comprises the steps of: (step 1) dispersing an organic acid salt (B) in a hydrocarbon lubricant (a) in the presence of a dispersant (D); and (step 2) dispersing an organic acid dispersion (A) obtained in step 1 in water using an emulsifier (C).
