Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method which can efficiently and stably obtain an aqueous solution containing amine carbodithioate salt useful as heavy metal treatment agent.SOLUTION: In a method of producing amine carbodithioate salt in which amine, carbon disulfide, alkali metal hydroxide and water are reacted with each other, water having U.S. hardness of 20 mg/L or less is used.
