Abstract:
To provide a simple and economical method for producing an aromatic amine and post-treating it by distillation that can be conducted with the low supply of energy.
Water is separated from a hydrogenated reaction mixture by using at least a part of the heat generated in the hydrogenation of an aromatic nitro compound in a distillation column having an overhead pressure of less than 1 bar abs.
