Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a compound having a difluoromethylene group at an even lower cost and with excellent yield. The production method of the present invention is a method for producing an aromatic difluoroacetic acid ester, which comprises reacting an iodobenzene containing an electroattracting group and an ±-silyl difluoroacetic acid ester in the presence of a metal halide.
