To provide a method for producing an automobile wheel disk by which the weight saving of a wheel disk can be realized while properly maintaining its fatigue strength.
In the method for producing an automobile wheel disk 5, a tray-shaped intermediate material C is formed by a preliminary drawing stage in such a manner that the conditions of (1) 65+0.1d<h<75+0.1d, and (2) (b+c)/2-30<a<(b+c)/2-10 are satisfied, so that the radiused part 15 in a hub face can be thickened by a shape drawing stage. Thus, the thickness of a planar base material B can be set previously in consideration of the ratio of the radiused part 15 in the hub face to be thickened, so that the wheel disk 5 can be weight-saved while properly maintaining the fatigue strength of the radiused part 15 in the hub face.
