PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the shape and thickness of a baked food and efficiently produce in a method for producing the baked food.SOLUTION: A method for producing a baked food by baking while arranging a baked material F on a hot plate P includes: a material arranging step of arranging the baked material F on the hot plate P; a first baking step of forming a middle baked body F4; a turning-over step of turning over the middle baked body F4; and a second baking step of baking the turned middle baked body F4 by heating with the hot plate P. In the turning-over step, there are performed: a middle baked body holding action of inserting one reversal plate 30 into between the hot plate P in a first position and the whole undersurface of the middle baked body F4, and scooping up and holding the middle baked body F4; a hot plate moving action of moving the hot plate P to a second position; and a reversing action of upward rotating the tip of the reversal plate 30 to the second position, reversing the reversal plate 30 above the hot plate P moved to the second position followed by turning over the middle baked body F4 on the hot plate P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
