Abstract:
To provide a method for producing barium titanate dielectric particles that are fine, have a low amount of halogen impurities, and are highly crystalline.SOLUTION: A method for producing barium titanate (BaTiO3) dielectric particles comprises a reaction step in which barium halide, titanium halide, and oxalic acid are brought into contact in an aqueous solution to obtain barium titanyl oxalate, and a calcination step in which the barium titanyl oxalate is calcined in a furnace, with water vapor being supplied into the furnace in the calcination step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
