Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and commercially-practicable method for producing a blend material of syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene (s-PBD) with a rubber-like elastic polymer.SOLUTION: The method for producing the blend material of the s-PBD with the rubber-like elastic polymer comprises the steps of: combining hydrogen phosphite with both of a Cr-containing compound and an organic magnesium compound or with both of a Mo-containing compound and an organic aluminum compound to prepare a catalyst composition; and polymerizing a 1,3-butadiene monomer in the rubber cement of at least one rubber-like elastic polymer by using the prepared catalyst composition to produce the s-PBD.
